Arandela Santiago

Inspired by the delicacy of nature and the sensibility of architect Ilanna Santiago, the Arandela Santiago transforms light into an artistic expression. Its design features lush, handcrafted foliage, meticulously crafted from metal, with each leaf individually finished to create a composition characterized by organic movement, refined texture, and a sculptural presence.

When lit, the piece reveals a sophisticated interplay of light and shadow that highlights the contours of the foliage, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere. More than just a wall sconce, Santiago is a decorative element that adds personality to any space and establishes a dialogue between contemporary design, nature, and art.

Crafted from carbon steel and aluminum, with an Italian-made sheet metal finish and special paint, this piece showcases the meticulous craftsmanship that is characteristic of Scatto. Its timeless design makes it suitable for use in entryways, living rooms, dining rooms, master suites, hallways, and high-end hospitality projects.

Developed in collaboration with architect Ilanna Santiago, the collection celebrates the beauty of organic forms and the power of lighting to transform spaces into memorable experiences.

For Ilana Santiago, a career in architecture provides a sense of personal fulfillment, as it allows her to make people’s dreams come true and bring happiness to families. The world of design has been her passion since childhood, which is why she chose the University of Cuiabá for her undergraduate studies and, to further her education, pursued a graduate degree in Project Management at the Getúlio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro.

She is most drawn to timeless concepts, blending the classic with the contemporary to create a sense of warmth and sophistication through subtle and delicate arrangements that highlight lighting and landscaping. Always staying up to date through courses and keeping an eye on market trends as well as those of national and international designers, Ilana seeks the best aesthetic and functional solutions to bring a sense of exclusivity to her clients’ projects.
